I am a musician. In January 2019, life became unbearable for me. When I give my piano lessons – I think it’s due to the unpleasant acoustics of the classrooms that generate this hyperacusis and tinnitus – I wear earplugs -25db, a construction helmet -30db when I play the piano and the noises of my daily life have become unbearable.

I isolate myself, my social life is reduced to nothing, I withdraw into myself and think about retraining.

My first appointment with Natacha Chetritt-Bonneyrat was decisive: her professionalism and ability to listen put me at ease. At last, a hearing care professional who hears me, understands me and proposes a solution!

Following the cure a few months later, I’m playing the piano without any protection, giving my lessons in the same way and resuming my normal life. I went into Øreblue with a 34% tolerance threshold, and came out with 98%! What a joy! The last discomforts fade with time.

Today, in January 2025, I have no more hearing problems, and if any appear, I manage to make them disappear. I’ve even refined my understanding of the family system by finding two children my grandfather had during the 1939-1945 war. Natacha’s method enables us to better understand our place in our family and in life, and thus to achieve healing.
